   Ben McIntire is an Emmy Award winning American director of photography living in Stockholm, Sweden. He is best known for his traveling documentary and advertising work. Previously, Ben spent more than a decade working as a freelance DoP and director in New York City, directing and shooting ads for Facebook, Intel, Google and Malibu Rum, among many others.

   Within documentary, he has filmed TV shows for Vice Media and History Channel, and completed many feature and short documentaries. Sometimes his work is traveling to remote areas of the world for NGO's, while his more commercial work has been seen on Amazon Prime, Hulu, Tidal and Vice Media.  

 

He was producer and DoP for the 2021 feature documentary The King of North Sudan, produced by Rough House Pictures (Eastbound and Down, The Righteous Gemstones). The film premiered at The Vancouver International Film Festival and was sold for international distribution in 2022.
